Thanks for your video it definitely provided a real world overview before I put mine together today. The included instructions are more confusing then helpful. FYI your front valance bar is installed backwards, that's why your valance angles up before it hangs down. Also the wall brackets have two parallel ridges on the top hole where the awning metal bar nut goes, if those are positioned on top, then you don't need a wrench to hold the nut while you tighten the securing bolt. Thanks again, keep making videos !!

Bet they wish they would've bought a longer awning or installed it much lower, huh.. Thanks for the video. You do fantastic work.

You mentioned needing to do more adjustments to make it fully extend out. Why was that necessary and was it accomplished? Would have been nice to see it fully functional.

If I spend a thousand dollars the last thing I want to hear is, "It's definitely not the best build quality." Good video, though.

I think it will blow off in the wind. There should be a fully automated awning that senses light rain and wind and automatically extends or retracts.

Sunsetter does that

I bought the same awning, 20x10, I understand in order to install the first bracket, it has to be from the edge of each side of the awning 6" inches inside, but how many inches or feet (estimate) from the other two brackets that goes in the middle? Thank you for your video!

Thank you for the help, I have the same one you installed, and I could not figure out how far away from the edge to put the the Q parts. Any suggestions, 4 inches ?

If it took you 8 hours, it'd take the average DIYer a month's worth of weekends, lol. Great work and video as always!

Josh, this is an amazing video and helped me a lot to install my awning. Do you have any instructions on how to do the adjustments to the motor (open and close states)
