The stock Corolla wheel is not bad, I don’t hate it but mine was already ripping apart and wanted to try something different. I can easily go back to the old steering wheel anytime.

I really really love my 01' Celica Steering wheel. I think it's perfect there. Then again I also love my 88' Supra 3-spoke wheel as well, but it is much bigger. I just think both of them look better than ANY modern vehicle on the road.

It again depends on the car, Frs wheel works on corolla since it's more casual daily car rather than "sports" car.

I think that is amazing, modernizes it and the frs and brz have plenty of aftermarket steering wheel options that use the stock airbag so getting a nice race version with the flatter bottom would work for me since im very tall

I was tempted to swap out the 2012 Matrix steering wheel into my 2009 Matrix, simply because it looks more modern with the flat bottom, rather than being a perfect circle. But I really dig the FR-S wheel better!

As for the airbag you might want to make sure the different inflator is compatible with the different airbag. And also check if the dimensions of the seating/cabin are similar on both cars.... that being said someone might have a short answer to this saying its safe, but I would research it before I try it out.

Smart choice on the airbag. Airbags are tailored to the interior dimensions. My opinion of course. Your arms would not be any longer driving an fr-s..... You can't exactly blow them up to find out what shape it forms. Also there's the side curtains that may interfere. But this is speculation.

I had no idea you could do this. I drive an 09' Matrix, I wanna put the flat bottom wheel that came in the 11'-14' Matrix. Now i definitely know i can swap it.

Your xrs wheel is still leagues better looking than my stock corolla CE wheel. Something about the lower trim wheels on that gen corolla they peel like crazy in my area.

So do the Corolla/Matrix, FRS/BRZ/86 and other cars all share the same clock spring? Specifically a 00 Celica? 😂

not necessarily but the center diameter of the clock spring is the same.

I am willing to suspect that you can convert the BRZ cruise lever to have the same connector as the corolla and it would work ... buttons and function seem to be indentical

I'd be putting my Celica wheel into an GT-86, I really don't like the newer wheel it looks cheap and nasty IMO. Even in the GT-86 it lets the interior down.

Not really it’s about the same distance. Only difference I felt was how thicker the wheel itself is. Feels better for my bigger hands.
