I think this is whats wrong with my wifes cars the traction control msg pops up n the check engine light cane on, but went away a day later and came back on the next day. So hopefully this. Is the problem. Thanks u so much for the video. Will def use this video when i change the sensor! Thanx

Hey Carl I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna That through a code P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor but I can't find where it is located on my van. I have looked but can't find it to replace it. The auto parts store have the part but they say they don't know or won't say where it is located . I would appreciate any and all help

@@10015732 Yes my sensor was inside the transmission sitting on top of the valve body. I drop the transmission pan then unbolted the valve body and you will see the speed sensor

Is there only one speed sensor or do all the wheels have one? My daughter has a 2019 Toyota Corolla, the code is reading speed sensor but that's it. All the lights on the dash are on and the Speedometer is not working. She paid for it in full so there is no warranty. She is in college with that being said we do not have dealership money.

How did you know it was the speed sensor? My 2015 just popped my steering wheel, ABS, Check engine lights and the speedometer isn't working nor is my mpg screen or avg speed screen....not sure if I should replace the sensor or if their is a fuse somewhere that would make all of that go on at once

Get a obd2 code reader, it will tell you which sensor is having an issue.

With that being said, there was no warranty and she's in college, so the dealership is not in our budget. My mechanic said the code reads speed sensor but Does not say which one.
