My husband finally gave me free rein over our stairs. (We live in an old farmhouse.) I ripped out the carpet to go back to wood. My husband and stepdaughter were afraid of falling and wanted a stair runner. I watched a lot of KZbin videos, but I found yours the most helpful. I saved this one to refer back to once I got into the project. My stairs look amazing; everyone is impressed. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise!

I wonder if you don't ruin your stairs with the staples? There will be thousands of smaill halls! Tapes and glue seem be better. Don't they?
