You'd have to get a new threshold kit. Probably wouldn't hurt to pour a little bit of slab unless you don't mind your threshold hanging over your foundation by 6 inches

Yes indeed l'll need to reconnect original alu threshold to the pre hung entry door myself. The mechanics of it are a simple screw on both sides of the upward frame members. After 20 yrs they seemed to break or otherwise loose functionality. Its a bit of a task but l am confident in an unobstructed solution where the door will close & seal with a new sweep install.

How does the door lock?

My Emco 100 storm door came with the glass window and screen unattached. The window is very loose in the door frame and the screen won't stay on, doesn't fit and doesn't come with anything to attach it to the door. Any ideas? Thank You

So basically, you have to have the screen in 50/50 to were it’ll stay temporarily and then just put in the glass and the glass will keep it in place.

Yes, we noticed that the house foundation ends at that point. In order to close that gap, the best way would be to add a little concrete extension. Customer decided to leave that way for now.

That handle gave me the flux for some reason. The button on the outside is tough to push in once you tighten everything up. I did make the mistake of not using the paper guide to make the holes. So now I need to get some sheet metal or something to cover my error. Lol

I believe the screws for the Door Sweep should be on the interior of the door! I think you did it wrong.

I am not an installer of doors; but I think the door spring footer was installed wrong; it needs to angle away from the direction in which the door closes. because the shape is a triangle and it creates moment; which is kind like torque. Think of it this way when someone pushed you; you angle yourself to create resistance so that you don't tip over right?
