FYI: The waste water line no longer goes through the saddle. There is a stopper preventing the line from going through half an inch like the instructions say.

Can the waste saddle be installed on a horizontal pipe BEFORE the P trap? I dont have anywhere to put it vertically due to how the pipes are currently set-up and dont want to re-d0 the plumbing

The three tubings labeled "input," "filtered," and "waste" do not go in all the way reaching the marking. The marking on all three sit 1/4" above the ports.

Hello, Questions: Why is there no seal between faucet and counter, do you recommend caulking it with clear silicone around the base? Also same as everyone else I took a 1/4 inch drill and opened the waster water hole just enough to slide the tube all the way, is this okay?
