I owe you $300 which is what my plumber or Lowes would have charged....this was so easy - even for me (I have never done anything like this). Thank you. I watched other videos and having one specific to the Whirlpool was nice. I did notice on another video that they reminded people to hook the insulation on the little hooks at the base of the dishwasher so that it did not get bunched up when sliding in the space. In the process of installing I discovered that the plumbing (fittings and knobs, etc) under my sink was some kind of cheap plastic and I used the opportunity to replace it. THANK YOU!

Big thank you! I wasn't here for an installation how to do much as I was here to see how my dishwasher should be connected to my garbage disposal. I just installed a new disposal and since then the dishwasher always has sitting water in it. Now I know it's because my dishwasher drain line comes from the bottom and the highest point of that drain tube was even height with where it connects to the disposal. Thank you! Great explanation and thanks for going into all the side details that might apply to some people but not all people! Really helpful!

I did it! It took me way longer than you, but I also had to deal with existing copper piping, aluminum wiring, etc. Had to use Alumiconn connectors and yadda yadda old houses are so fun! But about 2. 5 hours later, we're in business!

Excellent installation video. Details are important: Twisting the little wing on the stabilizing clip. ( I hadn't thought of that ), tilting the unit forward while you lengthen the rear feet, keeping the drain hose high, so debris from the garbage disposal doesn't enter the hose. Good stuff. The *ONLY* thing I would add, is that if you need to hardwire your new dishwasher, turn the power off at the breaker FIRST. Great video. I was considering letting a local big box store (blue version) do an installation, but this gives me the confidence to do the installation myself, and save $150.

Very helpful, thank you! They changed the drain hose to connect directly to the washer, the fitting is white on white plastic directly under another fitting making it stupid hard to find after a few beers. Other than that and the side mount bracket install the instruction manual is pretty good. The new ones have all plastic feet with 'stop points' every few turns when raising or lowering making leveling easier.

I did it myself but miserable job and don't really blame them for walking away. There's new hardwood installed that doesn't go under the dishwasher, no disposal unit so gotta run drain to vent. ..
