Thanks for the vid! Made it really easy for me to attach a basket to my bike! I thought there'd be heaps on youtube that use the same sort of hardware but there weren't and your video was super helpful!!

Dont be fooled by these cute but limited use front hub motor scooters. Regardless of the motor power, the front wheel will spin or stop on minor grades and ALL unpaved surfaces. Starting torque + traction is very poor. Fine for streets, stores, offices, homes but useless on grass, trails, dirt, sand. PUSHER motors would be far better. Place TWO 16 inch wheel 400 to 500 watt motors to the rear, increase ampere hour battery packs, maintain a front 16 in disc brake wheel, keep weight below 150 pounds, retail price below $1800 US and sell many to those who ride outdoors on grades.

Thanks for your suggestions, but I fail to see why they are posted under a video that tells us how to install a basket on a scooter's rear rack.

Possibly true, but a Buddy was not designed to be an off road bike anyway. It's meant for street use. To each his own....
