That’s a huge undertaking, I can see why you would hire a team!

Nicely done, we'll be installing a tower on our Bayliner. It's in a covered marina and there's nothing on the boat to attach the tower to that can hold it up. My thought is to use the structure above to hold the tower, but the boat and tower could could be end up misaligned any water movement. Do you have any advise on a better way to do it?

Are you guys the ones doing the installation? If not do they have a KZbin channel or facebook page?? Id like to ask them a few questions about the arch. I wondered what brand/type of cutoff blade they're using? I use a portable band saw but that saw would cut pretty damn square!

I (sailor smurf) get to film these guys at work! I'd say for questions you have like that, just give them a call.

Nice installation. The only point I would question is the installation of those backing plates. I think you mentioned a thickened epoxy to fill the void between plate and curve of the hull. Wouldn't it be better to add some fiberglass mat along with the appropriate epoxy resin to strengthen that area?

Hey Mondo, we only do additional mat if the area we are bolting to is too thin and is flexing from the loads. In general, 90% of our installs don't require this add on.
