The air guitar is taking form well 😎 I am not a CanAm guy (obviously) but a great video to throw up man! This is what a lot of people do go looking for an more often than not it's the little things like this that can't often be found! I won't be making it this weekend but we will definitely be making another ride here really soon. The new wheeler is on it's way this week while I am gone but at least now I will have two so there shouldn't be any concerns about not being able to ride now 😬

thanks for the video it was very helpful. I recently got my cv tech clutch but I'm not happy with it and I need some help. there was a drop-down bar when I was purchasing this clutch that was asking what size tires, I selected 29/30's but definitely not working right, I have a 2023 outlander xmr with K&N intake and full HMF Titan Exhaust the bike also is tuned with dyno jet power vision 3 running ATV Terminators 29.5X10X14 on MSA Wheels, my stall/Engagement went from 1800 stock clutch to 2900 RPM that's way to high and also, I know that the clutch is slipping is not grabbing the belt hard. when I get on my bike, and I hit the throttle, and the rpm jumps up the bike starts to pull but there is time where I fell the belt slipping cause out of the sudden you can hear the motor RPM spike up a bit then grabs again. my stock was running way better :) if any of you guys can tell me what weight and spring, I should run I would gladly appreciate

Hey man, I recently started trying to calibrate my cvtech. I got 21 570 on 31s, originally was set up by peakboys with a 1024 spring and 8 gram weights. Ended up calling local and they said they could set me up, the gave me a 1019 spring and 6 gram weights. I got a little more top end which I was looking for as it would only ever hit 6400 rpm now it’s 7000 however it feels a lot more sluggish off the jump. What would you consider for maximizing power band but not losing top end

Do these clutches always come with a one way bearing? Currently trying to fix a hard shifting problem/lurch. The belt was rubbing the inside sheave of the primary, which in the process of addressing this, I noticed the middle flat area between sheaves ,where the one way bearing would be, is static for mine. I see a lot of rubber wear in that section as well. I’m thinking I need to pull this off and inspect further.
@LyndhurstXMRMY2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you secondary might not be set back into the helix forks properly
@xNELVKALEN2 жыл бұрын
@@LyndhurstXMRMY could you explain the “helix forks”? I just replaced the secondary and it appears to work. It does adjust to rpm as it should. It seems to drive well other than it is difficult to shift between high low or reverse etc.
@LyndhurstXMRMY2 жыл бұрын
From what you said, "the belt is rubbing on the primary" that means your clutches arent put on all the way, in seeing the primary clutch is held on by a non compression bolt/stud, i dont think the issue is your promary. Your secondary clutch has a helix-shaft sleeve-spring-inner sheeve-outer sheeve then bolt or nuts. The inner sheeve has three slots in the back of it. The helix has three forks. The helix must have its forks inserted into these slots when installing the clutch or ut will put distance between the secondary and the backplate. Meaning your secondary will be further out causing your belt to rub on the outerr sheeve of the orimary! This is going off of what you are describing. Theres also 1000's of other variables.

Hey man, thanks for all the advice you're sharing. Can I ask what the rpm rev limiter is? I have a 2021 Outlander 650 xmr as well and had the 1020 spring with 18 gram weights but the machine does rev to high and activates the Visco-lok almost instantly because its so aggressive. its a 2400rpm shift out and the issue I was having was it was dragging to get to top speed almost as if not shifting out completely. I just changed to the spring to part 0951-1016 which is a lighter initial spring rate from 300 to 200NM but the same final spring rate of 1200NM and its shifting at 2000rpm. I used a 16 gram weight and a penny behind it to boost the weight to about 18.3grams. It shifts out at 7400rpm and comes down to 6900-7000rpm as it shifts through. Not sure I can get better than that. I would like to raise the RPM a little just before rev limiter but I don't know what that is. I have a 16gram and 18 gram weights right now. I may just put the 18grams in to get a little more RPM. I'd appreciate hearing how you made out.
