Thank you for the quick overview, I needed this, never used my durametric before and didn't really know where to start or how to navigate. Just installed on my computer but haven't connected to the car yet, will be making some videos about it of my own once I have a look around, thanks again, much appreciated.

0:09 I thought so too. In fact I even borrowed a local owner's Durametric Pro (not limited by VINs) to check it out. But as time goes on you come across many instances where you are left scratching your head because the codes it comes up with are non-OBD. So what do they mean? Nothing to me and nothing to Durametric when I asked them and the internet is just as useless. I am about to order an Enigma Code Breaker to see if that helps. LOL

Did you ever figure out why the VINs weren't listed? I bought a used cable that should have 1 VIN used by the original owner - but I don't see any VINs listed either. BTW, really appreciate the channel as it has been really helpful helping my son and I get his fixer upper up and running!

And the Durametric Pro that I have still cannot do an ABS Bleed on my 991.1, even though that model has been out for about 10 years.

VCDS should be able to cover Porsche at least with OBDII. Another proprietary dongle and software tax… 🙄
