It is possible, just install VB on the other drive and make sure to change the VM s default location prior to importing the VMs.

Click on the menu, then hover over Settings, click Appearance, then click on Fonts. Increase the dpi from 96 to whatever value you want. I suggest 125

I followed everything step by step. The gateway opened and updated, but on opening the workstation, I get an error message. When I try starting the workstation first, (hoping to update to fix the issue) it opens further, but then tells me the gateway is not opened.

You may have a corrupted VM, retry the installation and make sure you are downloading Whonix from a trusted source

great tutorial thanks just noticed you spelt the word 'password' incorrectly in the upgrade part of installation , you spelt it (passwd) does the computer spell check correct that for you , or would it fail to upgrade. cheers steve

You should use Whonix from the WS VM. Whonix uses the TOR network to connect so your IP will be hidden. Look at the 00:20 in the video for an explanation

It is pre-programmed to be imported in VBOX. If you want to install it on VMWare WS, you will have to set it up manually.

Using whonix on windows is not very good to your opsec. I recommend using it on for example debian 11 with FDE.
