@rolandoolivarez3244 I did a bit more fiddling with the wiring this weekend. Unplug the black radio plug that goes into the very top module. And uplung the steering wheel control wire and the other single green lead. I'm not sure what the problem is but those two wires cause it to trip out.

I ordered fr eBay,.& the eBay motors guidelines thing ,. U put in all vehicle info, it does a search and will tell u if compatible or not,. That selection was compatible,. I even typed in 2017 Silverado ltz w/Bose system factory amp compatible,. That was the item in search results,.. so I bought it,. I hear only 1 out of 3 or 4 works properly, and was told those on eBay reason so cheap was due to them not passing inspection at some point,. Idk though,. I’m lost tryna figure out this thing,..

Personally I’d rather do factory amp bypass,. I hav 8000watt amp to power my 2 subs 12in. Idk I getting a head ache tryna figure all the technical stuff,. Wasn’t this difficult when I did same install in my Tahoe but it’s 2006,. I had to buy additional interface$70 to get that to work properly,. This 2017 LTZ being stubborn😅

@ivanruelas2373 Realized it kept blowing the fuse for my radio. I blew 3 fuses trying to do it, so I returned the radio. I bought an external one that plugs into the aux port and the old lighter power port. It works good enough for me.

Has anyone got an early 2014 Silverado with the 2 wire green power harness? I didn’t know mine would be so difficult being one of the first 3rd gen’s. I can’t figure out what I need to do. Everything works except getting audio. I’ve checked all connections and they’re all good. Only thing that I’m thinking is there is something not being connected where the newer ones would connect on the green harness. Anyone that can help, is much appreciated!
