I know Android 11 is out but it’s still fairly new and there’s more bugs on it. For this video I chose to do Android 10 to help others install a more stable functioning OS on their switch. Do not do this tutorial with android 11, the process is different. I will be creating an Android 11 video next week if you guys are interested in that instead.

Great tutorial! Worked perfect. Only thing is, after doing this its messed with my date. Both Switch and Hekate have the correct date setup but when I play certain games like Big Brain Academy it thinks I'm 52 when I set my birthday to 1994. I've heard there are fixes with something called QuickNtp and Tesla. Maybe a tutorial on that next would be sick!

Is there any risk to Nand? I already have a 128 gb card for emummc cfw. I have another 32 gb for android. Do I need to do the emummc parts in the video or can I install the android part directly? Lastly, let me ask again, let's say the 32 gb is bricked, when I insert my old 128 gb emummc card again, can I continue with my console as if nothing happened?

hello, You can have multiple sd cards run on the same switch for different purposes. you will be okay.

You need a usb c to usb cable. But if you’re talking about the micro Sd card you need to use a micro Sd card adapter for your computer

Hey if I copy everything in my sd card to my desktop and after installing android I put it back in will all games custom firmware/emummc and programs etc I’ve installed show up again? Or will I have to download everything again But idk if adding it will delete everything in my sd What I mean is if I flash android and install it will it delete everything in my sd card or just it’s because when I was installing emmummc I also added 32 gb to android partition? So do I still have to backup all of my sd card files?

6:02 so at this step I get the message "Kernel image not found, Recovery image not found, DTB image not found" and the partition doesn't continue. I've tried different ways of unzipping the icosa file but so far none are working. I'm using a Mac for this so don't know if that's a cause. Any ideas? Edit: I ended up using a different SD card and borrowed a windows laptop, got it working now!

How do you dock to a TV? Whenever I dock my Android 10 Switch, it defaults to 4K 30hz, despite constantly changing the resolution to 1280x720 60hz, making the device unusable.

Its because the "Mariko Switch" - Your Switch, is different from the "V1 Switch", thats beeing used in this Video (This Video is NOT for Mariko, only for V1) The Mariko Switch got a different way of installing/running Android, thats why you ran into issues Search up "Mariko Android" & you'll eventually find the right Guide for your Switch :)

Android 10 is more fleshed out. So if you want a stable everything working on your switch I’d go with Android 10.

29 is for the system, it’s not the storage capacity. It mimics the original Switch’s internal storage, which happens to be 29 gb.

I believe I messed up around the 4 minute mark and I pressed ok instead of sd ums and messed up everything I had to mod the switch again and start a new because my sd card had become RAW format I had to fix that first then remod the switch then install android again what a headache

If you have a modded switch it should work with literally 0 problem, just be sure to make a backup at all cases.

I was able to install Android 11 on the Switch and the DS and PSP emulators work fine, more specifically, the games run nicely without choppiness, while the Wii and 3DS games are below playability. Not all Wii games, but many. While the games for 3DS, I wouldn't even describe how bad it all is.

Mariko switches in general cannot be modded without installing a modchip, which can be very risky and pretty expensive (in most cases more expensive than an actual android device). So without a modchip, no. If you do have the correct modifications on your mariko switch, yes.

10 is older, so it has less bugs. But tbh i have used 11 for so long now and have not had any issues i would 100% recommend 11.
