Hello, I will be a bit long,but first of all I want to thank you for the video,I made it. This is based on the video. What was different was,that for me the update did not start automatically,but I chose on the loading screen to update from usb. Then the logo came up,I went for a coffee. Afterwards it said successful update,but also on the loading screen( where you go to service mode) then the two scroll buttons did not work,and flashed white. I was scared. I pressed the screen,and it went black. I said this is the end. Then I pressed the reset button with a pin. It started up and worked. Finally I could start the wazet,without instant eject after more than a year. These are the experiences of the first 15 minutes, if I have more to write :) Thanks again.

I forgot, I went to wipe data first, so nothing happened. Then I took it out, and that's how I got to the service mode.

It is a fake Android 12 - it is Android 10 with a tricked information tab, indeed it is a working version maybe with some bug fixes. Only advice: update only the firmware, the MCU could be different for different models

Hej Jonas, jag har följt dina videos en lång tid och njuter av alla fina saab videos ❤ jag har en liten fråga, om du vet nån bra länk, för jag hittar knappt nåt på google. Det gäller dom där ledögonbrynen på 9-3 (09). Dom lyser helt enkelt inte. (Dottern köpte just sin första saab). Jag vet att detta inte är ett problem forum att skriva på men jag gör en chansning innan verkstan får gräva i det 😂

Hi Jonas, I bought a Witson PX5 unit for a Suzuki ASX. Natively android 9, upgraded to 10 via OTA 2 or 3 years ago) and with MCU MCTE_HA_V3.69c_2. Do you think that this package is also compatible with my device? I was just looking for an upgrade and I found your video! Or, if you kindly share the source where you found this upgrade, maybe I can also search for an upgrade by myself. Thanks for your video and in advance for your reply :) Tony

Hi Tony I am not very in to these kind of stuff. I guess it would be ok to upgrade, but I would ask Witson if its suitable. These files came from the Witson company but I have not been in contact with them

And another question - when replacing that navigation system, does it degrade the sound of the audio system?

If you have the OEM navigation it's not as easy to swap it out. I wouldnt change it

So what happens to the usb port that is originally placed in the center console, it woudln't work after replacing the unit?

Nope, you could of course wire it in. But else it will be useless

@@JonasKakarikasthanks. that's no good. That means there's no place to charge the phone unless You buy a separate charger and plug it into the cigarette lighter.

@k_s.m the factory usb slot doesn't work to charge the phone either way. You need an adapter in the cig lighter that gives 5V

I didn't choose "wipe" when I installed the update. Nothing was lost.

@@JonasKakarikas like I told you privately, I have a My Backup Pro backup (a bit over 1Gb) of all my apps @ my Google Drive because Android 10 was crashing every once in a while. Now I don't need it anymore since Android 12 seems to be stable 👌😎👍
