Commands:
on bootmenu press e
then press e again
goto left side and replace quiet with
nomodeset xforcevesa
After Booting into android
press alt + f1 key to open console
mkdir /mnt/sda
mount /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/sda
vi /mnt/sda/grub/menu.lst
do same thing as before
Wallpaper: wallpaperacces...

Thank you very much, this tutorial is the only one that worked for me an no other guides or tutorials took into account the whole black screen error and some of the tweaks that had to be made to the VM settings after being created. It's pretty much flawless except for one tiny thing: 6:43 here the on screen white text says "mount /dev/block/sda /mnt/sda" when you typed "mount /dev/block/sda1 /mnt/sda" Be careful to add the one when actually typing it. Well. This helped. Until I tried the last step. To enable the native bridge. My VM froze up, then rebooted. Attempting to reboot then just resulted in a loop of the OS trying to boot, then rebooting back to grub (I opted NOT to remove the countdown), then, if I don't do anything, it continues to fail booting, and return to grub. :/ No idea how to undo that. Other than to start over.
