How to Install Bee R Rev Limiter on a Z31

To be used at your own discretion, make sure to buy a genuine Bee R Rev Limiter, cheap copies will not work/will damage car.
RED -- 12 volt accessory
BLACK -- ground
YELLOW -- RPM signal, pin 17
GREEN -- ignition signal, pin 8
WHITE -- 2-step switch (to ground)

Honestly I can't remember. I haven't had that in my car for a while but I know it was around 4500rpm and one of the slower settings. I know the rpm was set right after peak torque from when I had my car tuned.

Why does it decrease engine health? Say I cap it at 5k and it redlines at 5.5k Wouldn’t keeping it below redline be better for engine health?

So how the system works is it adds a random signal to the coil to fire at any time. And it creates a combustion event in the exhaust. So it can burn valves or depending on how rough it is break ring lands or burn Pistons if you don't have enough fuel.

Yes you can put one of the vq35 but a better option would be to get uprev or something like that.

On my MK2 miata i hav 2 ignition wires from the ecu, 1 for each 2 cillinders. What wire do i cut?? Or do i cut both?

Most likely it would not be a coil signal wire. It should use the signal coming from the cas on the back of the motor.

It's a obx-r muffler that looks like the greddy Evo style muffler.

Do you think it would be a bad idea for me to get one I have a 420hp z31 1986 with a vg33det pushing 25psi I want to try and get one and use it but idk if it would be good or bad also I got a magumflow exhaust and I’m not straight piped

It should be fine to use it just don't abuse it. My car was making about the same power at that time and I've had it on for atleast 8 years. My car has a resonator and muffler so you should be fine.
