Very nice. I would have taped up the mirror glass heater wires. You don’t want those shorting out.

The OEM heater wires aren’t wrapped with anything. So I’m confident my partial heat shrink should be OK.

As always, great information. Be curious to know if the LT or WT or other more basic models have any of the prewiring there to upgrade the mirrors to boost auto models.

My truck is an LT. probably depends on the packages then vehicle is equipped with.

@@fondupot Yeah, mine didnt come with the towing package, but it was all wired for it. I just added the hitch and brake controller and it was super easy to plug it right in. So maybe some of the trailer mirror connections are there already. As far as the radio trailer package, Ive had them tell me I can get that added, but in reality I just get bounced around from group to group and Chevy tells me that OnStar handles that, and the several times I ended up there, some onstar person tells me its someone elses job. They are all pretty lame at after sales help. Thats why channels like yours are needed.
