Every time i connect to my phones hotspot i get disconnected from carplay. its either carplay or youtube i cant switch between the two without going thru the whole setup. is there a solution?

Sorry I'm not sure. I don't have to go thru the whole set up. Maybe try to factory reset device or update the firmware.@@SharifAhmeds

My settings are default however if laggy you can adjust by adjusting the video. Go to setting>Autokit tbox setting then adjust and test until no lag

@@AutoSensation ah but now I see you have an Android phone. I have iphone and then I cannot use carplay and the Android ai box OS at the same time. Because wireless carplay uses the wifi to make connection to the phone. I guess this ai box much more useful for Android phones.

Try your phone network provider. They would have sim cards. When you say KZbin and Netflix not working. make sure you are connected to wifi internet.

Do I need every single time to be able to watch KZbin video to: open hotspot on my phone > settings> wifi > turn on WiFi> and connect with the WiFi of the carlinkit box to the hotspot of my phone? Is it not possible to have internet on carlinkit box automatically?

@@a.1983 I believe there is an option to automatically connect so long as your Hotspot on your phone is on.

But, how does it work for the important stuff? Vice commands were terribly slow for me in android auto. Google Maps was painful. Sometimes switching to android auto caused it to crash. Support is horrible if you buy direct. Amazon purchases are not supported at all!!!

Yes voice commands does have a slight delay. I got use to it. Google maps works great for me no issues. Bluetooth phone connection is awsome no delay. However, if you are playing youtube on your phone there is a noticeable sound delay to your car.
