It Works👍 best 16$ ever spent!!! Thank you. Just unplugged the Battery, unscrewed the Airbag didn’t even have to disconnect it to put the cruise control.

Nice! I have a 17 base model as well. Ordered a OEM cruise control switch with the hole cover for $30 and I ordered a cheap control for $12 like yours to use the wires and screw, the difference between the two controls is actually similar but I wanted the oem one. I didn’t know there was a video on this and when I first ordered the parts I was just gonna do it so my steering wheel looked more complete. When I found out it was possible, I ordered another control so I could get the wire to install. Next on my list is the controls on the steering wheel, even if it’s not functional it’ll look better than plain

I have an Tacoma SR I just bought the cruise control switch and plan to get the intermittent wiper control next hoping I can also get factory Keyless Entry as well.

I was planning to do that as well… but I needed something to tow our 4000 lbs RV… 😬 so I ended up with a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 2wd V6 4 Door. It rides a bit smoother.

All the aftermarket parts say that it only goes up to 2014, is this what you used? I have a 2017 and can’t find an aftermarket listed for it

@@electriccuts I found the right cruise control toggle switch, but I cant find the right harness to fit onto the steering. The stock setup only has room for the ground connector
