Wondered how to go about using a different switch since the one in the Kings kit is massive and doesn't fit in those Hilux slots. Gonna have to get to supercheap and get the same one so I can finally fit my number plate light bar. Cheers for making the video, helped me out

Yeah. The kings ones are massive. Supercheap or Autobarn should have the right aftermarket one for the hilux. Good luck. 👍

Great video mate. I have used this kit several times before and on different cars. I don't understand why the terminal wires are so short and the rest so long. Most if not all cars have the same setup under the bonnet. I understand the switch wire being long, but I don't bother with switching in cabin as it takes longer to do than the whole setup. The only wire really needing length is the one going to the lights as some might put on the roof or rollbar. I just avoid cutting or doing extras unless given no option.

Agreed. The terminal leads are very short. Most of them are like this. Sometimes I have to cut and join to make them longer just to get around the battery. Very strange they would makththese shorter than even the battery length.

What size light do you have on it? 7" 9" ??
