Hi, thanks for the video. I think that my plumber may have spilt some of the fluid from my towel rail when fitting. What should I refill it with, please?

You can top it up with soft water. Must be filled up to the half of the top horizontal bar.

Do you need to top it up with water after a year ?

No you dont, because it is completely closed up system.

Hey Anji, We used 500mm wide 1200mm high Flat Black towel rail radiator. I have included a link for electric model in below. Unfortunately we are retailer only, we don't offer fitting services. We have WhatsApp live chat helpline on our website, if you need any information or question, please feel free to contact us at anytime. bit.ly/3iujThV

That's NOT how you bleed the radiator on the first heat-up!!! Bleeding the rack at the end of heating cycle defeats the entire purpose of bleeding it! Your rack didn't burst, because it was a pre-filled rack and the fill ratio is calculated. What if that was an empty rack and a customer filled it by themselves? All it takes is one erroneous calculation... In those cases if the bleeding screw stays open for the entire heat-up duration then the worst thing that can happen is excess fluid can spill out. On the contrary, if it stays closed, then there is a real risk of bursting and depending on the temperature and rack design can have serious consequences! The bleeding screw must remain open for the entire heat-up process and then closed when the rack has fully heated up.

Thank you for your comment and concern about the proper bleeding process. I appreciate your attention to safety, which is our top priority as well. I'd like to clarify a few points about our towel radiators: 1. Our radiators are built to operate at pressures up to 7-10 bar, which provides a significant safety margin. 2. We use high-quality mild steel tubes that are welded to withstand these high pressures safely. 3. Our radiators are pre-filled by experienced professionals with a precise amount of fluid, leaving the correct air cushion for expansion. 4. The bleeding method shown in the video is specifically for our pre-filled, professionally manufactured radiators. While your suggested bleeding method is generally good advice, especially for DIY-filled radiators, our products are designed and filled to allow for safe bleeding after heating. The high pressure tolerance and precise filling ensure that the pressure buildup during heating remains well within safe limits. We always recommend following the manufacturer's instructions for each specific product. For our radiators, bleeding after heating is safe and effective due to their design and professional filling. Thank you again for your input. We're always committed to providing safe, high-quality products and appreciate discussions that help educate our customers about proper use and maintenance. www.elegant-Radiators.co.uk
