Probably one of the honest reviews in terms of purpose lol.. thinking the same, an annoying feature.... those interested, I ordered 2/1 kit off alibaba, mufflers wit cutoffs attached... good/bad part... places cutoff at end of car, so it minimizes the drone... I keep mine open.. my previous setup was louder.

I don’t recommend getting like the cheap ones off eBay. The valve was stuck open and the remote couldn’t close it.

It’s possible. Just needs to be placed where the resonator is. I’m not doing it to my 2016 c300. I have a different exhaust setup going in.

You need a 2.25 or 2.5 cutout with a 2.25 single inlet and 2.25 single outlet muffler if you want to keep the one exhaust tip.. Recommend you get the quad exhaust! If you need any help follow me on instagram @zacskywlkr!

I don’t recommend the one I bought. It got stuck open and the remote only worked randomly. You are better off searching for one online with good reviews.

I have a 2012 C250 coupe so I think it's the same one you have. Do they have different cutouts that are louder? Like one the closes the normal exhaust system also and just lets it out of the other pipe?
