If dont work: power+bixby+volume d. (only cyclic restart) check: volume down+bixby, hold and connect USB cable from PC to mobile. It works ... :-)

I have updated my Galaxy note8 Dual sim SM-N950F /DS, Samsung Exynos 8895 processor which never updated beyond android 7.1.1. I restored it to factory default, still no joy. i saw a few instructions online but wasnt sure.Your's is very clear. I just selected one of the UK firmwares for N950F and flashed it successfully to Android 9 Pie ONE UI. i didnt have Wi-Fi calling feature on the 7.1.1, now I have wifi calling. I'm so pleased. You may have to retry the process with different USB port, different cable or even a different computer.

It's not necessary to install at&t firmware only. You can install any firmware, tmobile's or Sprint or Verizon or even unlocked. As long as you have the correct firmware file for your model. I have Sprint note 9 but I flashed to unlocked firmware so that I'll get a clean os with no Sprint bloatware.

I'd say you can still flash the latest firmware. Sometimes the OTA database files get corrupted and by that you'll not get updates. Flashing is one way to fix it because when you flash latest firmware the database files gets updated and you'll be assured to get the OTA after flashing. Unfortunately I don't speak Urdu my friend. Anyway my suggestion is go for flashing..

User data is wiping your phone's data to have a clean install. Even if you don't select that, in Odin you can select the wipe option which will do the same thing.

Whatsoever it does matter when you follow a specific video and they tell you to add userdata, please do so. There are multiple things, options and Odin version, every process may not be the same there might be a slight variance.
