Good instructions, but when you say "Make sure the drill bit is as straight up and down as you can get it" that's a caution, so back it up with why that is important. Great site, I come back here all the time for my 89.

Unfortunately, The upper reinforcements will not work with factory convertible chassis braces.

Yeah, bolting these in will fatigue the metal at the bolt holes and not add a lot of strength.

if you weld them in, you'll see why. they will rip out without them if you even lightly beat on these cars.
