How To: Install Front Wheel on XR650L [4 Minute]

Hi! You forgot one crucial step. After tightening the axle, before tightening the 4 pinch bolts, you should let the bike sit on the wheel, and with the brake on, compress the suspension a few times, to get the fork tubes aligned where they want to sit on the axle, this way preventing adverse handling, or binding. Perhaps I need to clarify. You lube the shaft first and then store it away in the hole to keep the dirt away. I don't know what you mean 😂

It is the hemisphere brace! Arguably the best on the market in my opinion due to the lifetime warranty. The RSW brace would be my second choice, but I disliked the silver/chrome appearance.

I personally use a ROX riser and handlebar combo set. I've durability tested them too many times and they're great!

Def use a torque wrench for those nuts

Unless you have an incredibly accurate one the pinch clamp bolts are easy to over tighen and the studs will shear

@@one_terrabike3151 i always tighten at 9lbs according to the manual. never had a stud strip. i lost a stud due to an accident once, and even then its easy to replace.

It wouldn't be helpful to share links as they might expire but I bought my extra set of wheels off of eBay for $250-300 a piece and they had rotors/sprockets and a tire with life left in them to give you an idea for pricing. I've also seen them pop up in facebook groups for the XRL as well! Keep me posted on what you find and thanks for watching!
