This is all good and fine if you are dropping a tank from a car that sat in the garage and was only driven on dry roads in a warm climate, give it some years in the northern states and then try it.

My fuel pump on my 1999 Windstar LX went out and I cannot get the fuel filler neck hose to let go past the ring clamp bump. It's about an 8-12" hose that has a bend in it and connects the gas tank to the filler neck before the frame rail. I can get it to freely rotate around the gas tank end but it will not get past that bump, I even tried bracing my feet on the frame rail and pulling the hose outward and all I did was nearly break the metal filler neck. Do I just cut that thing off and replace it with a rubber hose, like one used to a radiator, or is there a replacement hose that can be bought for cheap?

What causes this type of van a 2000 Ford windstorm to stop running every 5 to 10 minutes? It starts up with no problem, then cut off at will after driving a few blocks. My local mechanic ruled out the intake, battery, alternator, starter, filter and so on....

When You Apply A Load It Dies , Ground Cable Maybe , Had One Almost Corroded Right Through [The Ground Wire To The Engine] . Or your Coil Gets Hot And Dies , Engine Compartment Like An Oven .

Hello, My 2003 windstar seems a bit 'revved' when I start the engine. The RPMs seem normal, but the engine feels revved and when I pop the trans in gear... i can feel the car jump forward. Any ideas? Much appreciate it.

Pump or siphon the gas through the filler neck. It may not be easy as the filler neck does have bends. Be sure to use gasoline rated pump or siphon when attempting this.
