tip for anyone using cached shadows. run each map in a private match and run around for a couple minutes on each. it will generate the shadows and save em and load them when you later replay the map on a server

The people who made this mod are heroes. This is legitimately the perfect game. If they reset the ranks and made it so everyone started at level 1 like a normal cod it would literally be the best thing in the world. I have no reason to ever buy another cod again basically unless activision buys this off the devs and releases this exact game as a full release. Thank you for this video.

Another solution for people with PS5 controllers: Add H2M as a non-steam game, and steam will automatically translate the controller as if it were a regular Xbox controller.

Another weird note about the CR maps is on the servers they are enabled on, bots pathing doesn't work so they just stay in spawn And since no one has the maps you're basically just in a 1v1 server with 16 bots watching you fight to the death

i'd love it if the launcher would stop ppl from tampering with the game and its progression and had a focus on preserving the vanilla feel but with a few liberties taken here and there to still keep it fresh. i'd love for it be like mwr in many ways. it can still have a server browse section if you do want to go crazy but if the main game was almost like a console experience and locked down, that would be amazing. we already have so many clients and customs servers, we need a true mw2r mp experience that we would have got if it wasn't for mw2019/wz. it's probably wishful thinking and it's like wishing for modern cod to go back to an arcade shooter without all the bloat...

For the mouse look bug, I found that you need to go to the Sound Control Panel and disable all unnecessary audio inputs and outputs until you have less than 10 active. This fixed the issue for me.

campaign isn't necessary for the mod but like it said in the video, it's reccomended to make sure MWR works so the mod can work smoothly and sometimes the campaign can fix some issues. once MWR works and you get the mod working you can uninstall the campaign
