Before installing the new spark plugs, check the gap with a feeler gauge. They may be off a bit from the factory. Also, use a hose pinch off pliers on either side of the fuel filter line to eliminate any fuel spills. Words of advice from a guy who has done home service on JD mowers for 30+ years. Eventually, in the new future, I was thinking about buying or getting one of these mowers to use sort of commercially. I only have 2 yards right now. How often do I need to buy this whole maintenance kit?

I wouldn't, these use TZT7-M transaxles, which have no serviceable hydraulic filter, you can still change the hydro oil though. It's better than a completely sealed unit, but still not as effective as a fully serviceable trans.

😅Every 50 hrs for oil filter/oil and air cleaner. Every 100 hrs for spark plugs and fuel filter. Every 200 hrs for engine overhead ( valve adjustments ).
