How to install jacking rails on your Mustang S550

In todays video I will be installing something that you should consider if you are a freqeunt "vrencher" or if you are in need of jacking up your Mustant frequently, namely BMR CJR002R Jacking rails.
I already have BMRs CB005 cradle lock out kit and could not be happier with their product.
The installation is very straight forward and simple and can be done almost anywhere(more or less) and by anyone

Hey brother, hope all is good and both builds are going good :). If you are frequent in lifting the car from the ground do it man. In US these are rather cheap and makes jacking the car upp really easy. Take care

That is a somewhat rare model :). Do you have the side exhaust? Not sure how that side skirt is attached under the car. But you maybe have checked? Glad the video gave some input

@@Themazcorner I do have the side-exhaust and the side-skirt is bolted on. The jacking rails will not be impeded.

I got and installed these on my 2016 V-6 Mustang. I did it mostly to protect the bottom from local, inexperienced operators lifting the car to remove a wheel to fix a flat. I have only had two flats in the past 3 years (30,000 miles). A consequence of installing these rails is, they stiffen the body. You now have a horribly stiffer ride. (If you drive over a penny, you will feel it.) And while driving over a speed bump, even if you slow it way, way down, may result in a busted kidney. I am considering removing them.

I cannot tell that the ride comfort has changed for me. I have the Magneride though and it is incredible how it handles bumps, cracks etc.

@@Themazcorner Those of us who did not choose the MagneRide Damping System (in my case that option was not available) and we got the Mustang's standard suspension. After adding the Jacking Rails my Mustang now has the same ride as a Roman Chariot or in modern times, the same ride as a stone wheeled ox cart. Thanks for your reply.

Haha love the analogy 😁. Interesting to hear that it made so much difference though. With that said if you are considering an 18 or up in the future. I would not skip the Magneride, specially if the car is your daily.

Tnx brother, nah the typewriter tick is there but less pronounced now, the 2k rattle is there and also the lift off rattle :D....

The ‘chips’ are where the rails were hung for the powder coating (or painting) process ;-)
