Is it possible to have the KTM Powerparts model code, because only the one exists together with the power unit but I only wanted the grips because I have already installed the control unit for the heated seat?

Did you have to get the dealer to turn the grips features on in the computer

No, as soon as you install the module, the bike recognises the grips. No need for the dealer

My Yamaha Mechanic wants 130 Dollars for the installation, he said it takes them 1 hour. Fair?

In terms of time, yes, it is fair. But why don't you try to make it yourself ? It is really easy, and you will spend 130 dolars on gas, food, a couple of beers on a camping trip. Really, it is super easy, you just have to be carefull where you put the screws, give it a little time, open a beer and have fun. The alternative is good either but you will feel better if you do it yourself and get to know your bike more. Best of luck

Don't you need to install a relay to prevent the battery from draining if you forget to turn the heated grips off?

No, because the HCU (the heat control unit) is taking care about that. Unfortunatelly I did not cover the HCU in my video.
