Excellent instructional video! This really helped me to complete the upgrade. I didn't have any trouble getting the factory plug removed, possibly because I had the transmission fluid changed recently. The difficult part for me was to get the bracket to seat over the U-nut properly. Thank you for the preparation to put this together in such an organized manner.

The fitzstick is one of the best things you could do to a ford ranger. Mbs has a very good quality dipstick, well worth the money, especially if you tow or work with the ranger!

Breaking the existing tranny plug wasn't such an ordeal.. However, threading the new tranny tube and installing the new clamp & u-bolt were a true and repeated test of my Christianity. Also, make sure to have an eleven year old or someone of similar aged eyes to help you read the fluid level on the new stick. (True story)

Just ordered one! Need to replace my pan with an aluminum, and i wanted to extract the fluid first, so this dipstick is step 1. Will this dipstick work with the ppe transmission pan? I dont see why it wouldn't

Yes! It works great with the PPE pan. I installed one myself, and it's been flawless. Good luck!

How long is your 19mm wrench? Would a 10” 19 mm flex head work? Thank You

I'd recommend adding a cheater bar to the end of a 10". You'll need all the leverage you can get to crack open the factory cap. Good luck!
