You guys replaced the intercooler and radiator but forgot to replace the degas tank. Looks like that tank was on its last leg anyway, otherwise good video. I love your products and plan to use some in a project truck im working on. Thanks for supporting the superduty trucks

Why would it not be designed to install the lower rubber bushings? Would it not be rubbing metal to metal and create noise? Also those channels are much larger than the factory bushings on the bottom can it feasibly wiggle back and forth? Thank you looks to be a great product to lower EGT's, but concerned with noise and movement.

Hey Lexie, this unit is a direct fit that functions with all OEM equipment and mounting points. Simply requires swapping the rubber parts over from the stock set up.

I have a 2002 F-250 7.3 diesel that I outfitted with a Garrett powermax 88mm ball bearing turbo, DSL performance 4" exhaust kit, got rid of the EBPV system, and International bellowed up-pipes. I have not done anything to the intake side except stick on a K&N cone air filter for now. I also installed a Glowshift 60 PSI mechanical boost gauge. I know my new turbo is supposed to make more boost than my old stock one, but my boost gauge barely reads any boost pressure at all. I have to really lay into it to get it to read 17-18 PSI if I'm lucky. Is it possible my stock intercooler is blown out or my turbo intake pipe sleeves are bad, or might I be looking at something more serious like internal engine problems even though my engine runs perfectly fine with no skips and minor blowby?

MrNotorius5500 what do you have for fuel, cc & %. What’s your egt compared to old compressor, you probably have a boost leak somewhere potentially also under fueled for that 88mm idk there’s allot of variables

It'd alot late but you dint have the injectors to spool it all air no fuel

The only other thing that comes to mind is making sure you have a great tune. I think I've seen recommendations for a Gearmaster (???) "Hydra" chip and it comes with Free Lifetime Re-Burns, which come as an email file!

O.K. fine if a big rock, or a tree falling off a logging truck damaged my OEM cooler, but are you claiming a performance enhancement significant enough to justify the cost of this product simply as an upgrade to a functioning factory installation?

YankeeinSC1 Thanks for your comment - allow us to clarify. A few things separate this intercooler from the factory unit: -The Mishimoto intercooler features fully TIG-welded end tanks compared to the crimped factory tanks. This provides improved durability as well as boost tolerance. -The Mishimoto core composition features very dense fins for optimal heat transfer and AIT reduction. -The Mishimoto intercooler features a lifetime warranty. LMFAO this guy actually said "rolling coal" what a doush, fyi intercoolers don't increase power and for sure will not cause black exhaust smoke.....oh and how is the polishing a "serious feature"??? that thing is nothing more than a copy of the stock intercooler, the only thing you will do is lighten your wallet!

Pro-touring F-body This is untrue. Intercoolers have the potential to increase power output by lowering air intake temperature. Depending on a car's current intercooler setup, you may also see a decrease in pressure drop. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions. - Patrick M.
