INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. First disconnect the negative terminal on the battery using a ratchet and 10mm socket.
2. Locate the drain plug at the base of the radiator and drain the coolant into a fluid pan.
3. Remove the airbox and air intake hose.
4. Disconnect the mass airflow sensor and remove the intake hose from the vehicle.
5. Loosen the clamps and disconnect the upper radiator hose from both the radiator and the thermostat housing.
6. Install the Mishimoto silicone upper radiator hose and be sure to secure it with hose clamps.
7. Remove the lower radiator hose from the engine and the radiator.
8. Attach the Mishimoto silicone lower radiator hose to the engine and radiator. Be sure to tighten the hose clamps upon installation.
9. Reconnect the mass airflow sensor to the intake hose.
10. Reinstall the intake box and filter.
11. Refill the coolant system with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water.
12. Start the vehicle and set the heat on high to purge air from the cooling system. Allow the vehicle to reach operating temperature and then inspect for any leaks.
13. You have now successfully installed the Mishimoto Ford Powerstroke Silicone Radiator Hose Kit. Enjoy!
