Yes it should be the same ac compressor shouldn’t be that different some may be bigger or smaller but it should be the same

Is your car manual or automatic ? I have to change mine but the compressor model is a DV12. This seems to be a DVE12.

Ok I have the same issue with ac blowing hot air out. Was told Evaporator core needs to be replaced as well I don’t know how true that is. Because they didn’t even remove the dash to check evaporator core. What are your recommendations? Can I just change my compressor and ac will work?

@@AnonymousAnonymous-rp2de I would do more troubleshooting that’s the same issue I had though of what your talking about and we narrowed it down to the compressor and i changed it and recharged the system and then it started to blow out cold air

Did you have to evacuate the Refrigerant before removing the AC Compressor?

Yes I did have to evacuate the refrigerant before taking the AC compressor off

what was the issue you were having? turning on and off randomly? but still working? or actually damaged the internals?

The ac worked just blowing hot air even if I had it on the cold setting

What did you use to jack the car up

@@MrHyundai yea the ground is different, im having misfires in every chamber caused by a short on the ac compressor spark gapping and i just found it today im currently taking the alternator to fix the ground to fix the misfires its crazy right xD
