How to Install Octane for Blender 2.9

Here is a quick, how to install Blender 2.8 and Octane. Also I show what happens if you get the not address issues.

I dont know why Otoy made Octane Render so complicated for Blender ... Can you make a video comparing Cycles with Octane Render?

You can just save your startup file after you make the changes you need. That should make it faster getting going once you open it.

Hey thank you for the tutorial. Unfortunately it keeps saying "Rendering Waiting for Image" and never renders. When I click Window-> Toggle System Console it says "Octane can't connect to Octane server" and "no available CUDA GPU's on a server". I downloaded Blender Octane a few months ago and it worked. Nothings changed now, I have the same computer

Make sure you have the latest drivers for you GPU. Also did you download the latest version of the software?

@@finalresult3d It says the drivers for my GPU are up to date on my computer. Not sure if I have to go to Nvidia's website to check as well? And yea if you're talking about Octane, I downloaded straight from their site just like you showed so its up to date

@@finalresult3d I got it to work! My computer said my drivers were up to date but they weren't. I had top go Nvidia's website and download the latest one for my gpu. Thank you for helping me out! and don't stop these tuts they're so awesome and helpful

why if Octane is free for blender, there's no too much people who use it, since it is better than Cycles?
