What is it you are doing now? Not been active for 3 years. That said, the result actually looks better than what you originally found on Keyshot imo

It actually doesn't work with Blender 4.0+ The textures mostly import as jet black.

Yeah probably not, this was about 3yrs ago. Honestly I’d just use texture maps now. Hopefully I can make updated videos soon.

@@finalresult3d Nice to hear from you! Yeah Blender Octane has tons of potential for video content because many areas are pretty untapped.

This is so useful. I was looking for good in depth and smart tutorials to understand Blender Octane and its materials. I have been working with cycles and couldnt really understand Octane materials. Thank you so much for this treasure series.

Man, I actually enjoyed watching your process. I recently downloaded Octane and I am loving it. Just have to get used to the new nodes and Octane's logic behind the texturing set up. I'm a heavy Blender user and I'm always looking for new stuff either for or personal work. Great job man. Keep doing the good work and have a nice Blender week.

Oh man this was almost super helpful for me until I realized it's for Octane. Can someone outline how this can be done with Cycles?

great vid! How can i make it just a dark room? I turned down power to zero but it adds weird 8 bit bands to the viewport. They don't appear to be in render but it really messes up the viewport. Can i fix that or is it just a octane thing?

@@finalresult3d All around the camera, the render is ok. But if you take a close look to the camera part, it seems that you have overlapping material, or light artifact. Sad i cant send screenshots on youtube comment.

Is there a quick way to convert blender materials (image textures) to octane ones? I have models and need to manually convert each image texture to the octane ones it's a long process.

why if Octane is free for blender, there's no too much people who use it, since it is better than Cycles?
