i installed the p3 gauge for the mk6 gti golf in my 2011 gti and man it is gorgeous with so many features like boost gauge exhaust gas temperature, coolant temperature, battery voltage, 0-60 timer and also has built in code reader and can clear it using gauge ^.^ in the video i show you how to assemble it into the heater vent and how to pull the heater vent out and dis assemble it to put the lcd screen in i hope you enjoy the tutorial and review on this gauge thanks for watching.

@ghostlyrich Just a question out of subject. I will apply on my mk6 gtd some 3M Vinyl Black gloss finition. This is the only video i've found about removing vents. Do you know if the light grey plastic part can be removed of thre front global mask to apply my vinyl ?

Where do you get this? The one on ECS Tuning looks completely different and appears to need splicing of wires and stuff. EDIT: Nevermind, the one on ECS doesnt have the OBD adapter.

Hey what's going on, I've got a quick question. Would happen to know how to connect the p3cars boost gauge auto dimmer "green cable" to the oem light switch. On forums it said to combine the green with the gray cable in slot #10. I did it but it didn't work for me.

love the video, Did you drill a hole in your vent to run the wire? Cant seem to find anything about how the cable is run in

no drilling at all trying to remember I believe I just ran it through the foam seal that seals the vent or there was a existing hole :)

Red Beard lique moly for oil! Best for your engine ignore the Castrol oil it recommends. Rad fluids expensive

@@handlesaredumb1 VW recommend Castrol Edge 5w30. But its like piss. My 6R drinks a quart every 600 or so miles (also documented in the owners book) Ive switched to Miller's Nanodrive CFS NT+ 5w40. Slightly thicker and also recommended buy VAG tuners on modified engines. Much better oil and my car doesnt slurp it like the Castrol x
