It doesn't factor out ambient pressure which is about 17 at sea level I believe. So when it reads 32psi, you are really pulling about 15 psi at sea level

Can you please tell me how to unable the auto dimmer for the gauge, I've got a 2012 mk6, and the forums said to connect the green cable with the gray in slot #10 on the light switch connector, I did that but it didn't work, I would really appreciate any help you can provide me.

Great video on the installation. Great product!!! It looks very clean, and functional. I like this setup much more then having 6 52mm gauge's all over the a pillar and dash. Is there an option to add a turbo timer to this device?

Im sorry there is no option for a turbo timer. Adding a turbo timer to VW's is generally pretty complicated. We generally advise to avoid turbo timers as to do so you have to bypass the immobilizer in some way. Generally this is done by sticking a spare key inside the dash so the car will run without the keys in the ignition. This can cause other complications as well as compromising the security of the vehicle.

For anyone that has a sunroof, don’t velcro the module to that spot. When your drain tubes get clogged, the water will leak down and destroy the module. I didn’t realize my drain tubes were clogged and the water killed the module. 😢

Today after years I realized I forgot to do the dimmer wire. Did a mod where the interior lights fade on fade off but the gauge doesn’t because I forgot the wire lmao

I really am going to get one now, but can the VW dealership tell if your boosting across boost leak, but do the get codes and would it void your factory warranty like most people I know take out the mods and put it factory stock and doesn't void their warranty like APR CHIPPING can void it like most dealerships are not mod friendly

Yes it would read boost through the OBD 2 port.. P3 does recommend for highly modified cars that you use a physical boost sensor which they offer. Please let us know if we can help with anything else.

Answer my own question here... On 2016 GTI, headlamp switch red connector (2x5, 10 pins), solid gray wire on pin 10. View the P3 Cars manual for instructions to enter setup mode, then enable auto-dimming mode for the display.

The center console boost gauge readings are BS. I've seen it report 33+psi on a bone stock 2016 GTI; simply not possible. I'm also noticing that the coolant temps reported on the center console always shows 194 degrees after 5 minutes, whereas the P3 Cars gauge shows actual varying temperatures.

infotainment gauges are not accurate. psi includes atmospheric pressure (14.7) which is why it shows the 30+ psi
