For those who have high configurations and yet are unable to unpack the forge files, make sure to check if u have sufficient disk space, you will need about 20 gigs (this is easily overlooked)

So it should be installed under program files or something like that, locate your Ubisoft folder and navigate through ubi launcher to find the game install location. If you're having trouble I'd recommend doing a quick google search to help you find it

i have a question before doing the acu fixes thing, so, i save a backup file, then if the file im using to play the game with ACU Fixes gets corrupted, what do i do? do i copy the content that has the back up file and put in the 720 file?? So that when it gets corrupted i just keep copying a back up file to put in 720 file (in the archives of the game) to restore everything. Did i understand correctly?

@@AlexGoku5000 I'm not sure I understand it the way you phrased it. You can create a copy of your files as a backup and if you run into issues, replace the modded files with the copies of the originals. Or you can reinstall the game to get rid of the modded files

So I've figured out what happens, it half works, it fixes the stiffness of ezio's outfit when running but when I do the leap of faith, all the clothes will look smooth until my fps reaches 61 which is weird even though I have set my refresh rate to 60hz with vsync on

60 fps physics patch just adjusts the physics of certain things like cloth to be optimized for 60 fps. So no, not necessary. Also once the mods are installed you should be fine deleting the downloaded files.

I don't personally have the steam version of the game, but if you right click on the game in steam and click properties -> then installed files -> then Browse, it will bring up the game's files and you should find the exe in there. Once you locate it like that you can just check the file path and navigate to it in the anviltoolkit window. Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for the tutorial, but I've been having this issue where anvil toolkit will not unpack the Paris.forge and Paris_assets the console says its creating a backup then just stops. I let it go for about 2-3 hours and it still does nothing. Have you come across this problem or something similar? Should I reinstall my game?

I haven't had that problem come up for myself personally, I would try checking the nexusmods forums to see if someone had a similar issue and/or a fix. You could try restarting your computer and trying again.

Make sure to unpack and repack the forge files one at a time, and if the error is still appearing try starting the whole process over from the beginning with the original forge files.

Controller works great on pc version. I would choose pc version over console version, I have slightly older gpu than you and the game runs great

It shouldn't matter which order you unpack the forge files, just make sure to only do 1 at a time

Cause I don't seem to recognize an error like, I open AnvilT, I redirect the saved game file as mentioned in the video, then the moment I right click on the ACU icon and click on "Select Game", it freezes, then it shows "the app stopped responding" and then I have to close it, I can't find the cause.

@@muhammadtaha4208 I'm not sure what is causing the issue but it sounds like it is an issue with anvil toolkit. You could try searching for solutions on the Internet but I'm not sure what would fix it

can I change the hotkey somewhere, my insert doesn't open the mod menu in game at all. I know it works, I have the text in game telling me to open it but I can't. What's the remedy for this?

Hmmm, have you tried opening the config file that was generated in the acu fixes folder? It might let you change the hotkey there

You could try launching the game with Ubisoft connect in offline mode, otherwise your best bet would be to try reinstalling the mod probably:/

I would try restarting by unpacking the original forge file and modding it, and then trying to repack it again.

idk how to install acu fixes, i followed what you showed in the video. I extracted, opened game, minimized it, double click on acu (I do not get the .exe for some reason), then double clicked on the loader. do I need to put the file somewhere in the folder or just doing what I wrote will activate it?

When you extract the acufixes files, first launch the game, and once you've loaded into the game you can double click the acufixesloader exe file that you extracted. It should bring up a black window with text saying it injected the mod into the game's process.

Just download it anyway, or turn off the antivirus because it's flagging it incorrectly. It's not actually a virus, it's safe

Dang I'm really sorry to hear that. If I were you I'd try singling out the problematic mod.... try only running with the physics patch, if that doesn't work, try restoring the backup files and only running with acufixes loaded. You can also try reinstalling the physics patch and that might resolve the issue
