Thank you so much!! I almost went back to the camera store to complain; their demo version had the older/thinner versions and they fit just fine. Another thing I hacked about the Peak Design PL-S-2 Standard Plate (the small one) is replace the hex screw - that requires a hex key - with a screw that has a 'handle', so you can tighten/loosen it by hand. jcax44 yea unfortunately after testing more RF lenses not interested in the direction they are going with the wayyyy oversized form factor.
