We LOVE this type and brand of flooring. We put it in our master bath almost a year ago. It’s stood up to 2 bathroom floods. Now we have it in the master bedroom, dining, living, hallway and spare bathroom. I am going to be putting it in the laundry, kitchen & other bedrooms soon too. Just make sure to use the Henry floor primer before sticking down. We have the grey distressed color

Hey! Folks! Never line up the old seam with the new seam! If the glue is going to fail on the existing old floor it will also fail on the new floor! Stagger those seams! Also: use floor bonding primer, helps new stick to old. Is a shiny liquid made by Armstrong

I was married to a carpenter who unfortunately passed away to soon. I just left Menards saw this type of flooring all I want to say to you guys is thank you so much for making this video. What a blessing to be able to work together so well. Please don't ever take that for granted and give each other a big hug right now. You gave me the courage to do this project on my own may God bless you in your marriage thank you again. PS I thought that was excellent following the other lines that was great advice from the previous flooring. In the very beginning you made that one cut as you were working your way up to the wall by the vent wondering if I'm supposed to stagger them to make them look more like wood or I can just go side-by-side all the way down

Hi. I know this is a bit of an older video but just had to thank you for literally changing my life. First off, I knew I’d like this video (and you guys) when I saw your animals “getting in the way” and instead of getting frustrated with them you found it humorous. Secondly (and probably more importantly) Because of my utter lack of experience and/or knowledge of it and all the conflicting information out there I’ve been finding every excuse under the sun not to lay new flooring in my 33 yr old teeny tiny bathroom for months now. The stress it’s causing me has been insane. But now, along with your information, tips, etc., watching guys have fun with it made me want to move forward. Knowing now that even if some mistakes are made they can be corrected and within just a few hours I’ll have a beautiful new bathroom and I’ll sleep much happier tonight! Thank you!

nice looking brushed nickel finish with multiple water spray options Our master bathroom has a standing shower with handheld shower head. We started to see some rust spots in the hose not to mention heavy mineral built ups in the shower head because our house has very hard water despite water softener we have. My wife picked out this handheld shower head to replace our old one because she loves the brush nickel finish to match our bathroom decors but this turned out to be very impressive handheld shower head. Although I have replaced shower heads many times in the past, it came with nice instruction on how to replace it for those who's not familiar with it. My only advise would be to use wrench to hold the base spout when removing and installing the holding adapter so you don't accidently twist and damage the base pipe when you over tighten it. I really appreciate that it came with plenty of plumber's tape because you really want to put that on before connecting different parts so that there's no water leak in between threads. This is one of most common mistakes and reasons why there's leak after installing it. Very happy to see that they have provided plumber's tape to remind you to use it! It also had rubber rings/washers in each connector but it also came with extra one, which is nice. They also included a shower drain cover to prevent hair from going in to the drainage, which is a nice bonus. I really love the brush nickel finish, which makes it look elegant and expensive. The 7 different water spray setting is nice to have so you can change it for different purpose. We will most likely leave it on one setting for most of the times but it's nice to have option to change it when needed, such as jet spray for cleaning the shower wall, etc. After replacing the shower head, I didn't see any leak and the stainless steel hose feels sturdy. I also like that I can rotate and tilt the shower head holder and it stays in place. Overall, very happy with this shower head! amzn.to/3gVZIrH

This is quick and easy to install. I used the same flooring for a bedroom. It is easy to keep clean. I liked the feel of it to walk on. It was installed over a plywood sub floor which we sanded. On the advise of the salesman, we rolled out a tacky base coat prior to installation. The problems were: 1. Over time, In some areas, gaps between the planks appeared, almost like the planks shrunk. 2. I sold the house last year. When we moved the bed, the portion underneath had popped up and lost its stickiness. I tried using spray glue and double stick tape to hold them down. That didn't work. The realtors took care of the problem. All in all, I would recommend this just not over plywood.

@neilmartin7969
@neilmartin7969 5 жыл бұрын
Don’t lay over parquet flooring. There’s a good chance (as it is impervious to water) it will trap moisture trying to evaporate through the blocks. This will lead to swelling of the parquet floor and eventually separation from the subfloor below. Basically the floor will become uneven and unstable to walk on and everything will need to come up including parquet 👍

Your animals are absolutely adorable. Our kitty furson will climb on whatever we are moving (bed, chair or a kitty tower). He constantly wants a ride. We resently bought a house with the same type of flooring. We are adding the same flooring in the one bedroom and the two bathrooms that they weren't in before. Now we are also thinking about putting it in our laurndry/mudroom room and four closets as well.

Great job. I must interject with the following though; It is possible that over time because the vinyl sheet this peel n' stick was applied to expands and contracts- you may see some gaps open up eventually (ask me how i know?) LOL! The house i now live in has the 12"x12" peel n' stick tiles applied to vinyl sheet and lots of gaps have opened up :(
@KomarProject
@KomarProject 5 жыл бұрын

I did a peal and stick floor 10 years ago. I stored them in the hot garage for weeks before I used them. I brought them in the house and installed. Days later as the vinyl cooled to room temperature small 1/16" gaps appeared. If I was to do it over I would bring the flooring to room temperature first (cooler). My only concern is if the power goes out and the house gets hot here in South Texas the floor may buckle up a little. This is only a guess like to here what others think.

Sorry to chime in. But this floor once water goes inside seams, it will start peeling up. For a bathroom,which has high moisture and water on floor every time someone showers or baths, I would recommend the vinyl click laminate. It's made for water to get on it and it won't peel up like this floor once water gets introduced to inseams.

Does each beginning row thereafter have to be cut in half or not? Can the planks just be laid down one after another, without cutting at all?

Even on this install, you should fill the grout lines to make sure you have nice even floor so that you don't get telescoping of the lines underneath. A portland-based patch like Ardex would be the recommended way to do so.
