He's my helper, for sure! Yes, 60 amp breaker is what we installed.

Thanks for the reply if I use the 50 amp charger in the 50 amp setting I should be good with 60 amp breaker? I called their customer service and of course he couldn't answer my question Thanks Mike

So when this charger 1st came out, they suggested a 50 amp. Then they made some changes and suggested people use a 70 amp. To run a 70 amp breaker you'd need some 4 gauge wire. My panel is about a 10 foot run from my charger. I opted for a 60 amp breaker, with 6 gauge wire. Having said that my charger normally charges at less than 40 amps for my Jeep. Even professional installs I've see on tesla chargers with 50 amp chargers, they used 60 amp breakers. for the record - I'm not an electrician, but that was my install. @@edmaslana4184

@@JeepsOnTheRun lol haven’t looked only been in this house 3 years and the previous owners had electric vehicles I guess so no issues . I have the VEVOR charger that I got from Home Depot website for $170 if I remember right and since I live in Oregon I haven’t electrocute myself 90% of the time I be charging in the rain lol but they said it’s water proof

haha - Nice! some chargers can be mounted in the rain, some not. Regardless most all charges should be able to CHARGE in the rain with the cord being in the weather. We charge ours in snow and rain all the time. No issue. @@88rushrocks

@@JeepsOnTheRun the box of course in the garage it came with a 50ft cord so the cord remains outside with the garage door down as the jeep stays outside. Like the videos you post it helps educate people.

In theory - yes. I'd personally never wire it for less than it's capable of... Could open a can of works if someone were to use it on a larger amp vehicle

Did u heard a buzzing sound inside the box ? Very low, you will have to get closed to it to hear it.

As you get very closed to it, I can hear a constant buzzing inside the charger. From the charger.

@@garovira100 I do not have any noise. How far is your charger from your power source (Panel). What gauge wire did you run?

Is 40feet from the breaker box. I used 6 gauge THHN cables. With a 70amp breaker. 90dreege C

I'd definitely agree. What type of vehicle are you charging with your wolfbox? I assume you got the hard wire version?
