Every Freewing model I own where I had to work on the landing gear the grub screws strip real easy! So very good advice Ryan to use a "fresh" new bit for loosening the grub screws.

Excellent JP eletric brake installation video Ryan. Now I might have to install them on my 90mm F-19 and 90mm F-104. They roll so well and really don't want to tip or roll into the street or off the runway! Thumbs up! Best regards!

I put a set of 70mm wheel on my FMS P38L . I had to mill down shaft to 4mm . After all the work to wire these in and build supports so magnet will not spin when turned on , They are so heavy the P38L retracts will not lift them ! SO all that time and expense was for nothing !! THX BEN V.

They did their homework on making the install on these brakes a breeze! Looks like another sweet product offered by RCJetworkx

EVERY time I remove a set screw, I heat it up with a soldering iron because you don't know if they used Loctite or not. I have four or five Allen wrenches of each size. I have a bin in my pit box to put the "dull" ones in. That way I know which ones to grind to resharpen and not to use.

You never said anything on the friction of braking, does it lock or give resistance? Can you still turn the wheel. Whats the point otherwise, but leave skidmarks on the tarmac😂

Forgot to add, Grind a cutout on the wing green board. Vibrations in flight might pinch those wires. Cheers

Seems like white or grey wire sheathing would really look slick on the exposed wires.

Have enjoyed your videos for some time. So I thought I would get a couple of sets of these brakes for my F4s. But no luck. You need to start shipping internationally so I can buy stuff from you. Cheers Brian

Hi. Great video. One quick question. I’m going to build an F4 but I’d like to know where you got the decals for VF-11 and USS Forrestal? I was ships crew on the Forrestal in 70’ and 71’ and had VF-11 Squadron on board in one of those two years. Would like to build it the way you did. Thanks. Jim B.

@@PilotRyanMedia Cool, thanks. I was wondering if there was any. I am so looking forward to flying it, after I get comfortable with the trainer Freewing Pandora first. Oh, I am curious if you could make a video of the setup of the wires to the wired board that connects the receiver to the plane, and if I need a esc or a Bec in addition to the hook up??? I have 2 videos currently up on my channel of the way I assembled the Freewing F14 80mm Tomcat.

Hey Ryan quick question...how much does your plane weigh? I have mine with the freezing 1750kv motor 12blade and also the JP hobbies wheel brakes. I am at 8.5lbs. Also do you have like a slow down feature on your brakes? Right now mine is either on or off. Thanks!
