How to Install Rear Hatch weather stripping

Installing some new weather stripping on the hatch glass for the Datsun 280z project car build. One of the most frustrating parts in this process is the trim pieces and hence why you see so many Z's rolling around with the trim installed. Haha, just remember if it doesn't fit light-moderate-heavy taps with a hammer works perfect half the time 90% of the time

Spray the inside edge with silicone B4 you pull it in with the rope. 10x faster.

We did use silicone rubber/weather-stripping lube. I couldn't imagine trying to fit one without lube

@@hcr-motorworks I put in tons of truck sliding rear windows. We used a spray on. Was worth the clean-up, pulled like Butter. 😉

@@hcr-motorworks I don't spray the trucks. It's just cleaning the glass with Windex.
