What controllers do you recommend? I'm thinking about getting one or two from GameSir , mainly the T1s. Can the Raspberry Pi 3 have multiple controllers connected through bluetooth, or do you need a special bluetooth dongle? Using USB is ofc. also an option, although the cables might need to be veeery long , depending on the distance between TV and couch ;)

I'm having some issues figured I would ask you because this is my first go around with rpi3 after I started installing it said error mounting file system. the SD card is formated to fat32 and it is a Samsung Evo 64gb sdcard

Ok I have seen this . The problem for me was my sd card reader in my pc. I had to use my laptop to format the card with sdformatter. So try another sd card reader or pc and format the card with sdcard formatter

Hi I have just installed Relcalbox and copied the SCPH1001.BIN file into the bios folder, but when i chose any PSX rom to play it keeps saying No BIOS detected expect bugs. I recently lose 4 hours of saved gameplay on one of the rom and I am blaming the No BIOS detected. Is there any way I can fix this. thanks

The default 2600 emulator sucks, refusing to work with many games. Is there any way to swap it for something that works better? I've heard Stella LR works better than ordinary Stella.

It will be in the raspberry pi settings. Or (as I had to do years ago) you may need to edit a config file. Google is by far your best bet here.

Recalbox is easier to set up but retropie has more support, they both run emulation station , I prefer retropie myself if your just starting out try recalbox first.

"does not support USB rom transfer"... major dealbreaker for me. Also seems to have no way to do video previews for games list. Think I'll stick with Retropie.

It does. You can tell recalbox to use an USB stick as it's file system (needs to be activated via a script). This way you can plug the USB stick in your PC and copy stuff manually and plug it back into your recalbox. Download and extract the file (with a program like winrar or winzip) you downloaded and put it over to the SD drive via your network like shown in this video.
