@@erickfunk2557 man it's hot as humid wet hell in Alabama. Last night ac went out (like in the video) and autozone (👎) said "oh it's the relays" and sold me a $25 relay that didn't even go to my car but to the hatchback version. I spent hours going through videos trying to find where that relay went like an idiot. Today I went up there again and tested them I'm the parking lot and all my relays were fine. It was so hot In the parking lot and I'm drenched in sweat. I see your video and as soon as you said "if you can hear the fan but no air" I was like "oh sweet baby Jesus that's me". AutoZone said "no one even has this part in town!". I called advanced 11 min down the road and they had one left. I changed it in their parking lot. You personally solved another humans problem and you provided great info and I didn't die from a heat stroke. You saved my day and made all my stress go away because no one else has a video explaining this like you did. Seriously thanks. You didn't have to do it but you did and you made a difference.

The blower of my 2004 just stopped i was slamming the dash and under the hood ,i did nt know where it was hidden,thanks to this video i had it in 1 second fixed,thanks

Thanks so much for this. My fan on by 2010 Aveo has been squeaking for a year. Removed the fan, sprayed a bit of WD40 on there and the squeak is gone. It was driving me crazy! 😆

Thank you for the video. The first 3 dial positions work on my car but the fan doesn't work on the 4th position. It shuts off. So if i replace my fan . . . . it should work? Or could it be the dial switch ? I thank you for your time :)

Hi Len, sounds like it may be the blower motor resister as it works on some of the settings but not the last one. There’s another KZbin video where the gentleman shows how to replace both the fan and resister. Good luck.

Hi Louise, in the beginning I show you a couple of ways to check for a faulty fan. Check and let me know if you still need help.

At 5:14 when you’re comparing the old connector to the new connector the reversal creates a problem of polarity. This causes the motor to run in the opposite direction. The air flow after installation will be nearly none.. in order to correct this I cut the connector off and reversed the leads so when it’s plugged in the polarity is correct. I have no clue as to why the manufacturer did this.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I also noticed there's an arrow on the motor indicating which way the air flows. I'll double check mine as we haven't used the car since. I hope other's see this comment and check theirs to make sure it's correct.

My blower motor wire burn’t out on my 2011 Aveo5. I couldn’t fix it myself or find the pigtail part for 2 years now. Chevy won’t explain me how they gonna fix it unless I bring it in. I think they want me to replace a hug harness which I see on Ebay called Chevrolet Aveo 1.2i 62kW 2010 Petrol LHD Front Dashboard Panel wiring 9L02SA. Which would be ridiculous to replace. I can’t even locate part on any Chevy part store.

I believe it’s the blower heater resister. If it only works on one speed it’s usually the resister.
