I wanna buy this for my truck but I have a plastic bed liner in it. A lot of these covers require you to cut your bed liner. Does this one require you to cut your plastic bed liner as well or can you put it on the bed of the truck no problem? (2019 Ford Ranger XLT 5'1 bed)

The only issue I had, was to pull the cover out a few inches and keep it there while I attached the rails. If you don’t the cover gets stuck behind the stop.

why would you want to put water between the bedrug and the truck bed? leaving that area wet all the time.

What is the difference between RETRAXPRO XR vs. RETRAXPRO MX ??

The XR has integrated T-slot rails, the MX does not. Good for adding accessories like bike racks, or even a sleeper tent designed for roof rails.

You forgot to mention the driver's side rail hits the bed side handle, so using the rubber spacer isn't possible.

All Retrax tonneaus have the same profile on the covers, but the XR series will have a slightly higher rail. The XR rails have an open channel that allows you to slide in accessories like racks, and that's why they're a little higher. Hope that helps!
