Do you have a video showing how to set up the audio recording? I purchased two way talk and had no idea you had to connect in the NVR? Do you have a Video that talks about the enabling of encryption on each camera? Do you have a video showing the must have settings and any safety measures we can set-up so we have the comfort of knowing our cameras are safe?

Do you have a video that shows hoe to set up the A I smart detections and tracking? I know I am asking a lot. The set-up is not user friendly and I am having a hard time understanding it all. I appreciate whatever you can share. I had REO Link and although the set-up was fairly easy and somewhat user friendly, the clarity wasn't the greatest and the recordings had a mind of its own meaning although I would block out certain areas I did not want notifications, I was still receiving notifications. The clarity and videos of ANNKE cameras were far better however, I have yet to find any videos addressing all my concerns.

Timeline viewing events could be clearer. I didn’t see a graph of events vs time occurred. Maybe I missed it. If you are searching how easy is it to find when motion was detected? How is it on false positives? A leaf moving trips it?

Quick question. I am thinking about one of these for LIVESTREAMING. Therefore I wouldn't be using any of the security features, just the Cameras and then running out of the HDMI output into a computer. Can the HDMI output send a Clean signal without any text on the screen?

The answer is yes. However, you would have to disabled the timestamp and date from the menu so that the screen is clean when you view it.

Did you see any issues when installing the HDD to the NVR system? Ours came separately and when the HDD was installed the setup wizard froze. When we unplugged the power cable to the HDD, then the mouse would move and we could configure the NVR. When it got to initialize the HDD, it's not listed or when we would connect the HDD power to the motherboard it would freeze the setup wizard. Do you think it's a defected HDD that Annke sent us? We also bought a new power adaptor to rule out that out. Any advice is appreciated!

Maybe i'm being stupid here but i can't seem to have mine only record motion. it's recording all the time. Any help please ? Also my camera sends me motion notification but it's only a still image, can motion be set to record maybe 5 or 10 seconds through app rather than just a still image? Thanks

Once the drive is full, it starts overwriting the oldest recording and continue recording new video. It's a form of loop recording.

Nice video, thanks 1 Question, does this NVR has also an web interface. For settings, playback etc. If yes, does it works in Chrome or only IE 1 Note, If you set the camera (Camera web interface) Day/night Switch to "Day" you have at night also Color image. For your front camera you can even switch the IR-led's (Supplement light mode) off. There's enough light from the street lanterns etc.

Yes it has an interface for you to play back, rewind, and forward which can also be controlled by the free app that it provides. It's easier to be controlled by the app rather than IE or chrome bc it use less bandwidth. These cameras do not provide color during night mode it is only during day mode. It'll automatically switch to night once the internal sensor sees daylight diminishing. The IR lighting with certain cameras can be controlled they the menu of it's intensity. It friends on the annke camera. One thing to note, if there is plenty of outside light during night then it'll be great. If you face it towards a dark object (say grass) it'll illuminate but will have a spotlight effect where the corners of the screen will be black and the center will have a lot of light. All the things mentioned I'm telling from experience and having used the systems.

HDD is cheaper then SSD, you should definitely go for the 3.5inch HDD.

Although this was a very good video, you skipped rather quickly over any meaning of Real Time, Balanced or Fluency in the live view settings. I cannot seem to find information on what each setting means. I also can't seem to tell the difference between them as I switch from one to the other. Anybody?

Hello, I've been solving a problem with Annke's support for a year now. I alerted them to the insufficient value of the record. New firmwares have a minimum value of 30 seconds, which is bad and nobody wants to deal with it. Another problem is with the sensitivity, even if I set the value to the minimum value of 20, it almost constantly uploads. The problem is both NVR and specific cameras....again, no one solves it for at least a year..... ONVIF camera support, picture, sound goes but does not record. ... again, Annke doesn't want to solve anything. The old firmware worked fine. No one can help with support, they just copy the same text over and over. ANNKE is a disastrous company that rebrands an unnamed company. The unnamed company is at least reacting in some way, which cannot be said about Annke. I've been installing this brand for years and I'm leaving for the amateurish approach.

I have been using this brand for years and the last year when new firmware versions were released in NVR 8-16ch, everything is horrible after recording, the minimum value is 30 seconds, motion detection is at a minimum of 20, human vehicle detection is activated and the NVR is recording almost constantly. Technical support is a group of dilettantes who can't do anything at all. ANNKE's IT department is a complete waste.😢😢😢

I have used this brand for several years. And since a certain firmware version of the NVR recorder, I have been solving problems. With rok support, I solve several problems that these NVR devices have, and loop support corresponds to the same. Reluctance to solve anything. I am moving away from this brand because it totally ignores bugs in NVR firmwares and 3rd party camera support. Motion detection at the lowest sensitivity disaster. The manufacturer received a list of problems from me, to which he did not respond in any way. I recommend everyone to look for another brand. No one communicates with you, no one will give you company management. An absolute disaster. They tried to shut me up by offering me a free camera as compensation, but I was not concerned about the camera, but rather that I would not suffer financial damage and damage to my name. I do not recommend ANNKE.
