What did you cover the upper sheathing with. I either missed it or you didn't show it. It would help if they were numbered in order.

With regard to the drip edges, are sliding the trim pieces underneath the drip edges? Or did you install trim first, then did the roofing
@bdizzle123001 Жыл бұрын
Drip edge on roofing needs to be the outermost layer over fascia. Its purpose is to have the water drip off it away from the structure

The contemporary design of your shed project is excellent! The horizontal pattern of the sheet siding in particular works great. How is that black paint holding up on the PVC trim boards? I've seen mention elsewhere that dark colors on the plastic can cause problems.

What did you finish the upper plywood with? It looks like wood but is not the same as it was.

For the horizontal connection between the two framing pieces, shouldn't you be using z flashing? I'm asking because I have a similar situation

New Subscriber here! I've been really enjoying your videos, and they're a great resource to turn to with all the projects that I'm doing. I wanted to ask, what software are you using to create your plans? I've been looking for decent 3D cad software that wouldn't break the bank. Thanks in advance!

Very cool shed, but I would have used some non-cracking spackle or bondo over those screw holes to make them really disappear.

Any tips for adding trim to a 45 degree corner? I am working on an octagon build.
@AndrewThronImprovements Жыл бұрын
I think you need to miter at 67.5 degree to make up the 135 degree obtuse angle 📐

Beautiful work, as usual. Does that black goo wash off your hands easily, or have you learned another important lesson too? Gloves are your friend :)
@AndrewThronImprovements2 жыл бұрын
Haha gloves might have been a better bet for sure. Fortunately, the caulk I used washed off rather easily. Thanks for watching!
